Montana - applications welcome

APPLICATIONS WELCOME BUT MONTANA IS NOT READY TO LEAVE AS YET

The very beautiful Montana is a 3 year old German Shepherd x Caucasian Shepherd. She has come from a council pound after being found as a stray and was due to be put to sleep. Sadly it looks like she has been bred from many times in her short life. Montana is still unsure at times, and needs reassurance, but loves having a fuss and cuddles from people. She really is a very special girl !!

Montana is a very large girl, she is currently very under weight but still weighs 45Kg (she was 37kg on arrival), she is quite athletic when she wants to be and can clear over 5 foot easily, so her new home must be suitably fenced, at least 6ft fencing. Montana is looking for a home with no young children, 12 years plus mostly due to her size and bounciness. She would like to be the only dog in the home, she will go for walks with other dogs happily and isn't reactive on a lead if she sees other dogs, but she prefers her own space. Montana is very interested in small furies and therefore cannot be homed with Cats or other small furies.

Montana's ideal home would be somewhere calm and quiet, a large garden for her to have zoomies in, and people who are around quite a lot of the time, (she can be left for short periods of time). Montana is house trained. Experience of large breeds, Shepherds, Guardian breeds is a must.

Montana needs to be spayed before leaving the sanctuary which will hopefully be done in the next week or so, she has had her first vaccination and has been flea and wormed treated.

Goose - Adopted !!!!!

Goose is a very sweet approximately 7 month old Labrador cross female puppy. Goose is looking for an active family to take her on new adventures and learn about the big wide world. She is a happy, confident, playful pup, she is great with other dogs, respectful of cats and has met livestock. Goose can be homed with dog savvy children, she is still young so does occasionally jump up. Goose is walking well on a harness and lead, and is pretty much house trained ( the odd accident overnight only).

Goose is quite small currently, she is only medium sized (cocker spaniel) I don't think she is going to become a large sized dog.

Goose is microchipped, Flea and worm treated and has had her first vaccine currently
